Science in the service of society and a source of innovation for companies: how positive innovation benefits future generations

April 23rd, 2015 – Auditorium of Le Monde (80, boulevard Auguste-Blanqui – 75013 Paris)

PROGRAM

As we observe mutations occuring within the economy along with the rise of social entrepreneurship and collaborative economies, a similar mutation occurs in scientific and technical professions, which becomes an amazing accelerator for change. Since 10 years or so, a new field has appeared: responsible research and innovation. This approach put science ans technology in the service of society and works towards a positive social and environmental impact using research. How can we optimize these advances and maximize their impact for a positive economy? To what extent will future generations be the first actors and beneficiaries of this mutation?
