ACHIEVEMENT/ What is your project/ initiative/startup/company all about?

A Social Impact Bond is a contract to pay for improved social outcomes. Government commissioners specify social outcomes (for example reduced reoffending, or improved children’s care), and social enterprises deliver them. Investors fund the programme; returns are dependent on the social outcomes delivered.

12 Social Impact Bonds, to help 6,000 young people into work, provide therapy or therapeutic foster care for 600 teenagers, and find new adoptive families for 700 children.
We target 15-20 new Social Impact Bonds in the next 4 years, delivering positive outcomes for young children, teenagers, vulnerable adults, offenders and the homeless.
