Graduated from ESCP Majeure “Innovation and entrepreneurship”, Arnaud Mourot since April 2005 is at the head of France Ashoka, an international non-profit organization present in 70 countries, whose aim is to contribute to the development and sector efficiency Social Entrepreneurship, a sector that “undertaking otherwise” putting people at the center of its concerns. Created in India there are nearly 30 years, its flagship program is to support innovative social entrepreneurs to help them leverage their impact on society and spread their ideas.
Arnaud Mourot launched the selection and support of innovative social entrepreneurs, which he later expanded to Belgium and Switzerland since 2007. Around this flagship of Ashoka, it develops in 3 countries substantive actions for strengthening and expansion of the entire sector of social entrepreneurship and synergies with the business sphere.
Social entrepreneur himself, Arnaud Mourot created in 1999 Sports Without Borders (SWB), the first French NGO in education / psychological reconstruction through sport. He is now the president. He is also the (co-) founder of various “social business” as La Ruche, or OVALIE in the disability sector.
He was also a member for 10 years of the team of France Freestyle (figured among world’s top five in 1998) and 15 times champion of France.
