Daniel Cohen is Professor of Economics at the Ecole Normale Superieure, vice-president of the Paris School of Economics and Director of Cepremap. Normale, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor in mathematics and law. He is a member of the Economic Analysis Council (EAC) to the Prime Minister and scientific advisor to the Development Centre of the OECD.
He has published many economic books including Wealth of the World and the Poverty of Nations, Globalization and Its Enemies (Grasset, 2004), Three lectures on post-industrial society and 27 issues of contemporary economics (with Philippe Askenazy).
Daniel Cohen is a columnist for Le Monde, leads a show on France Culture and was a member of the Scientific Steering Committee of the left in Europe. Cohen was named “Economist of the Year” in 1997 by The New Economist.
