Head of Access to Energy, Total
With a strong background in finance and global energy markets, Emmanuel was appointed Head of Access to Energy Program in 2010. This program aims to expand the mix of energy solutions offered by the TOTAL Group to respond to the energy needs of a broader customer base, particularly in developing countries, by creating hybrid business models that are sustainable and economically viable. In particular, Emmanuel is heading Total Access to Solar (TATS), an affiliate of TOTAL whose mission is to provide access to solar photovoltaic solutions, for lighting and communication, to low income people. Solar solutions are sold under the Awango by Total brand. TATS started operations in Kenya, in Cameroon and in Indonesia. It has then expanded its activity to Uganda, Burkina Faso, Myanmar, Cambodia, Haiti, Senegal and Nigeria.
After serving for several years in the Investor Relations department of TOTAL as an IR officer, Emmanuel then spent 4 years in the Project Finance team of TOTAL and was in charge of all the financing operations of TOTAL’s Exploration and Production activities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Emmanuel graduated from l’école des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC, Paris).
