Director of Sustainable Development, Schneider Electric
Gilles Vermot Desroches has worked as NGO director, before joining Schneider Electric in 1998 to create and develop the Schneider Electric Foundation, under the aegis of the Fondation de France.
Three years later, he took the lead of the corporate sustainable development department which includes, in addition to the Foundation, the launch and the deployment of Schneider Electric environmental, social and ethical policies, and the consciousness-raising of all stakeholders to sustainable development issues. He is also in charge of the “access to electricity” BU.
In addition to his responsibilities in Schneider Electric, Gilles Vermot Desroches is a member of several organizations, such as ADEME board of directors and the National Sustainable Development Council. He is also a lecturer in Sciences Po Paris, and the President of 100 chances 100 jobs, and of Scouts and Guides of France.
