Guillaume Parisot

President of AVELTYS, a company of Bouygues Immobilier and Schneider Electric

BACKGROUND / Academic and professional background

Engineer by training ISAE-Supaero, I worked in the Group Bouygues on organizational functions, on information systems, innovation and business development. Strong supporter of Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship, I took the presidency of AVELTYS, a co-creation Bouygues Immobilier – Schneider Electric on services for high-performance buildings.

ACHIEVEMENT/ What is your project, initiative, start-up, company all about?

Pillar of the third industrial revolution described by J. Rifkin, the positive energy buildings, revolutionizing our approach of building and the city, recreating short circuits of energy. By extending the concept, we evolve from a building that costs and constrained to a building that creates value, both for its occupiers, but also for his neighborhood and his city.

LOCATION/ In which city, country, part of the world do you conduct your activities ?

We start in France, first on commercial buildings, then on housing, on neighborhood. The prospects are limitless to extend the approach to any kind of building, including abroad.

IMPACT/ What is the positive economic, social, political, environmental… impact of the activity, project, initiative, start-up, company?

From the moment we define a new model where the building is not the consumer but the producer, the logics are reversed. In the same way, from the point where the building is no longer seen as a cost item (the second after the salaries in a commercial building), but as a tool of productivity and corporate attractiveness, the logics are also reversed. Starting with energy, we arrive on comfort, quality of life at home and at work, the new urban services, the local and sharing economy, the positive contribution to urban development…

QUOTE/ A saying, quote or reference phrase that tells something about you

We live in a great time: while the constraints of any kind are important, but we have never had so many opportunities!
