Former President, Schneider Electric
Born on September 13th 1938 in Colmar, Henri Lachmann graduated from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC 1961) and owns a diploma of Expert Accountant. He was the President of the Supervision Council of Schneider Electric from May 2006 to april 2013.
He started his career of entrepreneur Arthur Andersen in 1963 as an auditor and then Director of the Audit department. In 1970, he joined the Industrial and Financial Company of Pompey, which became Strafor-Facom, as Planning Director and then became General Director. He was then CEO between 1981 and 1998.
Administrator of Schneider Electric since 1996, he became Chief Executer Officer in 1999, a post he occupies until 2006, before becoming President of the Supervision Council.
Henri Lachmann is also Vice-president of the Supervision Council of Vivendi, member of the Supervision Council of the Norbert Dentressangle Group, President of the Foundation for Continental Law, Administrator of the Entreprendre foundation, President of the Consultative Counsel of excellency Campuses at the General Commissary for Investment in the frame of the Great Loan, Vice president and treasurer of the Montaigne Institute and Vice-President of the Association Pacte PME.
