BACKGROUND / Academic and professionnal background
7 years: I experienced with my family a new way of life in a city farm.
7 years: Master in Theology and I studied liturgy in the Catholic University of Paris (1997).
7 years: executive (pastoral animation) in Catholic high schools and Fondation d’Auteuil
I graduated with a master degree of Social Economy and Local development, in Valenciennes (2008).
In 2009 I created the association Solidarité & Initiative and Jardin de Cocagne de la Haute Borne in 2010.
I am the administrator of Association Terre de Liens Nors Pas-de-Calais since 2006.
ACHIEVEMENT / What is your project, initiative, start-up, company all about?
– Integrate my social convictions in an entrepreuneurial approach: creation of a company with social and environmental goals
– Jardin de Cocagne de la Haute Borne is a workshop-project of insertion with organic gardening and selling organic vegetables baskets. We take part into the Réseau Cocagne which has developed 120 gardens throughout France.
- The novelty of Jardin de Cocagne de la Haute-Borne is to be implanted in the heart of a place dedicated to innovative and high-technology companies: the science park of Haute Borne, Lille Métropole’s center of excellence which gathers today more than 7,200 employees in 120 firms and laboratories. This place is closed to a European campus university: the Cité Scientifique gathering 2,500 professors and 20,000 students.

IMPACT / What is the positive economic, social, political, environmental … impact of your activity, project, initiative, start-up, company?
In the European science park of Haute Borne, near Lille, the Jardin de Cocagne de la Haute Borne combines social inclusion, employability, organic gardening, farm-to-table movement, and education around vegetable gardens and the impact of food on our wellbeing.
It connects people looking for a job with companies and universities. This project is between the tertiary sector of the economy and agriculture; between technological innovation and social innovation.
