BACKGROUND / Professional and educational background:

Dr Vre, D.Vet.Med., MRCVS. Graduated from Ecole Veterinaire de Maisons –Alfort and the Royal Veterinary College (London). Conservation Fellow of the Zoological Society of London. Founder and Director, Cabo Delgado Biodiversity and Tourism Project, Mozambique; Founder and Trustee Odyssey Conservation Trust, Mozambique.

ACHIEVEMENT/ What is the project/initiative/startup/company you will be presenting at the Positive Economy Forum all about ?

For over 20 years, we have created ground-breaking, community-led, conservation programmes and preserved endangered species in Africa. We are now active on other continents, taking an original and holistic approach to conservation that encompasses environment health, human health and animal health – working closely with indigenous peoples – and especially women – and promoting their traditional knowledge and values.

Based in the UK and `France, we operate worldwide.

We help to preserve areas of high biodiversity and provide hope and a better life for indigenous people whose traditional culture and subsistence is based on the natural world.
