Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Executive Director for Resource Management at the World Food Programme
BACKGROUND / Academic and professional background.
Manoj Juneja became Assistant Executive Director Resource Management AND CFO at the World Food Programme in January 2013. The appointment follows a career spanning five years in the private sector and twenty five years in the United Nations system. Prior to joining WFP, Mr Juneja served in 2011-12 as Deputy Director-General for Operations at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and in 2003-04 as Executive Director, Support Services and Treasurer and Financial Comptroller at the International Labour Organization (ILO). An Indian national, Mr Juneja holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and has attained several academic distinctions including an Order of Merit of the ICAEW. He has taught at the LSE, Boston University and University of Geneva. He is married with two children.
