Founder, Ticket for Change
BACKGROUND / Academic and professional background
I soon will be graduated of a Master in management from the ESCP Europe, with a specialization in alternative management in HEC Paris, I found my path through the launching of many meaningful entrepreneurship projects.
I have in particular cofounded the project « destination changemakers » to realize missions near social entrepreneurs in the Philippines, in India and in Senegal. With Jonas Guyot, we have been facilitators of the partnership between Gawad Kalinga (Philippines) and the BipBop program of Schneider Electric. I am coauthor of the book “A la rencontre des entrepreneurs qui changent le monde” (rue de l’Echiquier, 2014), story of this exploration.
Back in France, I have initiated Ticket for Change, a project inspired from the Jagriti Yatra in India, in parallel of my studies.
ACHIEVEMENT/ What is your project, initiative, start-up, company all about?
The ambition of Ticket for Change is to arouse a vocation in the mind of gifted, ambitious, creative young people, coming from all backgrounds and who do not already have a defined project and who need a trigger to dare becoming entrepreneurs.
The first edition of Ticket for Change (26th August – 6th September 2014) is “travel-trigger” of 12 days, 3000km, 50 young people, 40 pioneers, 12 days, 6 cities: both a geographic travel and an inner journey, this unique tour of France has allowed 50 participants from 18 to 30 years-old to better know themselves, the country they live in and to find ideas and solutions to solve our society problems.
Following the Tour, the young entrepreneurs are individually accompanied during 10 months to turn their projects into something concrete.
Finally, we work on the creation of free courses available online (MOOC) in partnership with HEC Paris, on the production of two documentaries and on a program « Ambassadeurs du changement » (change ambassadors) to spread the inspiration as far as possible.
LOCATION/ In which city, country, part of the world do you conduct your activities?
France today (Paris, Marseille, les Amanins, Lyon, Strasbourg, Lille en 2014), Europe and other french-speaking countries tomorrow.
A project on the same model is planned for Quebec.
IMPACT/ What is the positive economic, social, political, environmental…of the activity, project, initiative, start-up, company?
During the 2014, the 50 participants have conceived projects in many sectors : education, environment, equality of opportunities, fight against exclusions, 3D printing, link between entrepreneurs and big companies, complementary currencies, international solidarity, collaborative economy … our ambition is to help them to start their project durably after the Tour to develop sustainable solutions and create employment.
Our digital dispositive set up during the Tour has allowed to reach daily thousands of people and thus, spread the Ticket for change project: entrepreneurship, solidarity, youth, optimism … in France !
