Engineer in food-processing industry and doctor in nutrition, Nicolas Gausseres has a twenty years experience in research and development. He gathers a strong expertise in nutrition and in public health with a good understanding of the corporate stakes. During the 15 last years, he has been involved in most of the nutrition programs of Danone group. Danone has contributed to the scientific research and to the launching of many brands. He currently runs the nutrition department of Danone which has for mission to develop the company’s ability to bring a long-term contribution to local feeding issues and public health
ACHIEVEMENT / What is your project, initiative, startup, company all about?
In a context where public health issues put more and more often the food-processing industries at the heart of the problems, ensuring the continued existence of a company from this sector is something that will come from its ability to combine economic growth and public health : it means a growth that would be durably profitable for public health.
Beyond the conviction and the personal engagement, this objective is both my function and my diary work. I will show through a few examples the actions set up to put the subsidiaries at the service of local stakes and thus contribute to the solution instead of aggravating the problem.
