ACHIEVEMENT/ What is your project, initiative, start-up, company all about?
Creating the first organic and solidarity-based restaurant/caterer service, designed according to the concept « from the garden to the table » and a real living space, with diversity and social bonds at the heart of the European Scientific Parc of Haute Borne. La Table de Cocagne of Haute Borne, is a natural extension of Jardin de Cocagne, located nearby (organic market-garden of 4 hectares) will offer :
- An alternative cooking: organic and creative, enhancing the quality and taste of seasonal vegetables and fruits from market gardening.
- An approach in the favor of socio-professional inclusion that creates jobs (19 jobs in 4 years of which 15 are employees on inclusion programs) and pre-qualification for a professional project in the field of restaurant business.
- A proximity and development of partnerships with businesses of the Parc, with a space dedicated to meetings, training and business seminars.
- Cooking workshops for employees of Haute Borne and the students of Cité Scientifique.
