BACKGROUND / Academic and professional background

Engineer in life science, Master of Vegetal Science, Pascale had several experiences in scientific research centers.
Pascale wanted to put more in service of the life her knowledge and the scientific results, Pascale joined Kinomé in 2007 and today, she manages the Applied Research pole of the company and has the responsability of the educational activities which allow thousands of children to act for the forest!

ACHIEVEMENT/ What is your project, initiative, start-up, company all about?

Kinomé is a social enterprise which makes trees a solution for human and economical development. It means to put trees in the human oikonomia (in Greek: management of the human home). Concretely in the field, we are leading local development projects by coordinating farmers, associations, governments, United Nations… Trees are our gates with these stakeholders to work together on value chains creating a better quality of life for all.

Kinomé has planted 4 million trees for the benefit of 330 000 people having better consciousness of the major role of trees and living better thanks to the value chains we developed together.
