Professor at the University of Versailles St Quentin in Yvelines (2011-2015) and at the University of Pekin (2013-2015)

Coordinator of the Chapter « Carbon and other biogeochemical cycles » of the 5th Assessment Report of the GIEC.

Most productive scientist in the field of Climate Change (http://www.carbonbrief.org/blog/2015/07/analysis-most-cited-climate-change-papers/ ) and among the 1% of authors which are the most quoted in the field of geosciences and ecology. Publication of 420  A-rank articles of which 50 are in the scientifics journals Nature, Science and PNAS.

Coordinator of several european projects ; supervisor for 40 doctoral theses.
