Rick is chairman of Patagonia’s Footprint Council that oversees the company’s vanguard environmental and sustainability initiatives that include its, environmentally preferred materials in its products, Worn Wear partnership with customers and Footprint Chronicles reporting of its sustainability initiatives. He also oversees the company’s philanthropy making over 700 grants per year to environmental NGO’s.
