Founder and Director General, Mozaïk RH
French-Marrocan and born in Paris, Said HAMMOUCHE is the founder of Mozaïk RH, a associative practice specialized in promoting equal opportunities and diversity. The practice employs 21 people and benefits from 100 volunteers’ expertise. It has an essential mission: to restore equal opportunities and treatment in companies’ and public institutions’ Human Resources processes on a national basis. In 2011, Mozaïk RH helped over 1500 candidates and allowed 500 of them to find an employment.
Saïd Hammouche grew up in Seine-Saint-Denis and passed a BTS (advanced vocational diploma) in commercial activity before directing his studies towards a Human Resources’ degree and later moving on to a DESS in economic development and social counseling.
After several experiences in public and private companies, he enters the world of public communication. His career leads him to the Ministry of National Education, where he stayed for five years. Very soon employment and discrimination issues push him to get involved in social actions. He contacts Human Resources Directors and brings to their attention the young graduates that come from areas’ that deal with discrimination in recruitment. 2005 thus witnesses the launch of the first associative recruitment practice specialized for young graduates from the poorer districts of Ile-de-France. In 2007, Mozaïk RH is born.
In January 2012, Saïd Hammouche published The ordinary descrimination chronicles (Gallimard). Today he has become a reference in the diversity expertise field. As an Ashoka laureate, he was elected social entrepreneur of the year in 2007.
