Co-Founder of Ethiquable
Stéphane Comar, co-founding partner of Ethiquable, is an economist committed since the beginning to work for the benefit of developing countries. He specializes in organizing and managing agro tropical industry. He is in charge of organization and finances as well as quality system at Ethiquable, which he created in 2002 with Rémi Roux and Christophe Ebehart.
Stéphane Comar, was born on February 8, 1963. Having completed his studies (he graduated from IEDES-Sorbonne and holds a diploma in economics (DESS), he decided to volunteer for two years décide, with the “Progress Volunterres” in Mali. Since 1991, he has been living in several worlds, with projects of development in trade and company and also in community movements. He has worked as a financial advisor toi OCIBU on the World Bank project aiming to restructure the Burundese Coffee network, as an auditor for the production branches of a group specialized in tropical agro industry, and consultant for a research department specialized in micro finance and agriculture financing in the Southern countries.
Together with his professional activities, Stéphane Comar works in a community movement taking care of adults excluded from work and of youngsters having served long sentences in prison, in Fécamp. He discovered fair trading in 1994 and became a member of Max Havelaar.
